Time: 1:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time (New York, GMT-05:00)

Session Number: 641 410 994

Overview: This event is a combination of the monthly Learning Exchange webinar with Partners in+care roundtable to introduce that method of involving consumers in end+disparities. The first hour will focus on the disparities calculator, how it was developed, and how to use it in addition to how to move from data to improvement. The second hour will focus on consumer involvement and will provide an overview of Partners in+care and how to get involved as a mentor, ambassador, or architect. Regardless of your role in the HIV service industry, you are welcome to join us for the entire two-hour webinar if you would like to.

Presenters: Michael Hager, Daniel Tietz

Learning Objectives: Understand the principles of disparities analysis using the NQC Disparities calculator. Name common next steps Learning Exchange participants can take to close disparity gaps once they have identified a focus population. Explain the process for maintaining and progressing along the QI path for disparities projects. Describe the partners in+care project and its toolkit of resources. Name key methods RWHAP recipients can use to bring people living with HIV onboard to assist with this work as partners in+care.
